— Financial PDFs in Plain Language
Upload an insurance policy, loan product description or bill as a PDF to see a clause index and plain-language explanations. A step-by-step guide from upload to results and how personal data is handled.
When to use it
Insurance terms and loan product descriptions run to dozens of pages. It is hard to find where the fees are or how much you get back if you cancel.
Use PDF Analysis when:
- You want to look through a product description before signing
- You want to check the exclusion clauses of insurance you already have
- You want to see why a card or phone bill shows a certain amount
- You need to read documents your parents brought home
ConvoFin is a tool that reads documents with you. It does not tell you to sign up for or cancel any product. Once you understand the content, the decision is yours.
How to use it
- Upload a PDF — Click the upload area on the left (

Open the one-page sample. A fictional agreement unrelated to any real contract opens so you can try the analysis right away. - Find clauses — The
📋 Clause Indextab organizes the clauses in the document automatically. Filter withAll,Fees,Cancellation,Renewal,PrivacyandOverdue. Tap an item to jump to it. - Move between pages — In the
📄 Pagestab, type a page number or use the◀▶arrows. Zoom from 50% to 300% with➖➕. - Run the analysis — Press
⚡ Analyze allat the top right. - Look up a single word — Drag over any word you do not know in the document to look up just that word.
What you will see
When the analysis finishes, four tabs on the right are filled in.
- Overview — A short collection of the clauses worth noticing across the whole document.
- AI Explanation — The important parts of long terms explained as an easy story.
- Plain Terms — Difficult terms rephrased in everyday language. For example, “acceleration of the loan” becomes “a situation where you have to repay the rest all at once before the agreed date.”
- Notes — Write down what you checked or questions to ask the agent.
In the 💬 AI Chat Assistant at the bottom you can ask follow-up questions about the page and clause you are looking at. Example questions such as Is this clause risky?, What happens if I cancel? and Tell me the exemption period are ready to use.
AI is not a person. It can misread or miss clauses. For important contracts, check the original text as well and ask the financial company or an advice service again.
How personal data is handled
- The PDF file itself is not kept on the server. The text extracted from the PDF is kept as the original, and a personal-data-processed version for analysis and search is managed separately.
- An analysis result cache is kept for up to 7 days so the same document loads quickly next time; it is managed separately from the stored original.
- Server logs do not contain document content.
- Before uploading, you must hide or delete personal information such as resident registration numbers, account numbers and card numbers yourself, and check the document you are sending.

Frequently asked questions
Q. My PDF won’t upload.
A. First check whether the file is larger than 20 MB. Only PDF format is supported. For photos or screenshots, use Image Analysis.
Q. Does it work with scanned PDFs that have no text?
A. PDFs made by photographing paper have no text layer and may be hard to recognize. In that case, save the pages as images and use text recognition in Image Analysis.
Q. Nothing appears in the Clause Index.
A. Documents number their clauses in different ways, so automatic recognition sometimes fails. Page through with 📄 Pages, or use the full analysis and the chat assistant instead.
Q. Can I trust the analysis as it is?
A. No. ConvoFin is an assistant that puts documents into plain language; it does not provide financial, legal or tax advice. AI answers can contain errors or omissions, so check the original text.
Q. What if the document is very long?
A. Run the full analysis first to get the big picture, then pick the clauses you are curious about from the Clause Index. To check a specific passage quickly, paste just that part into Direct Input.
