Insurance terms, loan product guides, card notices, investment materials — AI reads the long, difficult financial documents for you and lays out what matters and where the risks are, in plain language. ConvoFin explains financial documents before you agree to them, so you know exactly what you are signing.
ConvoFin is a service that helps people understand financial documents. The site and its public content are managed by the ConvoFin team. We do not recommend specific financial products or give professional advice on individual contracts.
Where possible, our explanations link to official references and state what they apply to. Calculation examples use hypothetical conditions; actual amounts must be checked against your agreement, the financial company's notices and filings. We may use AI to help write supplementary explanations, and we name a reviewer and the scope of review only when review by a qualified professional has been confirmed.
Changes that affect the content are reflected in the updated date. If you spot a possible error, send the page address and the sentence in question to godgame.platform@gmail.com. Please do not include personal information such as resident registration numbers, account numbers or original financial documents.
The fine-print riders and technical jargon in financial contracts are hard for ordinary consumers to follow. That information gap is why people sign clauses that work against them, or miss the coverage they actually need. ConvoFin exists to narrow that gap, so anyone can walk into a contract with the information they need to judge for themselves.
Upload entire terms, product guides, or notice PDFs to automatically detect risky special clauses.
Extract and review text from contract photos taken on your phone with high-precision OCR.
Share the screen you are looking at and financial wording is recognized and summarized in real time. Check as you go, right inside a bank's app or web page.
Paste a confusing clause and get a plain-language translation and explanation on the spot.
Clauses that are unfavorable or need a closer look are flagged for you automatically.
Run 8 calculators on the spot — loan repayment, deposit and savings interest, revolving payments, early repayment fees, capital gains tax, and gift tax.
Ask questions while you read the document, and drag any term you don't know to see what it means right away.
Keep a record of the clauses and checklists you reviewed and where each consultation or contract stands, so you can check again before you sign.
Senior mode (large text and read-aloud) is available, with support for Korean, English, and Japanese.
Below is a hypothetical product brochure made for trying out ConvoFin (it is not a real financial product). In large print it promises “up to 5.0% a year bonus rate”, “cancel freely at any time” and “30 million won on a cancer diagnosis”, but the conditions are scattered through small print and later articles. It mirrors a layout often seen in real financial documents. The document itself is in Korean.
| Promise in large print | Condition in the same document |
|---|---|
| Up to 5.0% a year bonus rate | The base rate is 0.5% a year. The bonus applies only in months when you keep an average balance of 10 million won or more over the previous 3 months and spend 500,000 won or more a month on the partner card (Article 2). The small print says 0.1% if the conditions are not met, which also contradicts the 0.5% in Article 2. |
| Cancel freely at any time | Cancelling within the first year deducts up to 80% of the principal paid as contract costs (Article 21) |
| Tax-free benefit, a product for retirement | Not protected by deposit insurance. If any underlying asset has ever fallen below 50% of its initial reference price, you can lose up to 100% of the principal (Article 19) |
Every rebuttal shown is a sentence that actually appears in the document, and tapping it takes you to its place in the source. It also shows which side was printed larger.
“30 million won on a cancer diagnosis” is true if you read Article 5 alone. But Article 5 excludes “the cases in Article 12”, Article 12 says no benefit is paid for a diagnosis within 90 days of the contract date, and then adds that “reduced payment follows Article 13”. Article 13 is a 50% reduction. Because the three articles point to each other and the outcome is unclear, ConvoFin chains Article 5 → Article 12 → Article 13 on a single card and attaches a question to ask: “If I am diagnosed within 90 days, do I get 0 won or 15 million won?”
Article 21’s “the surrender value is calculated by a method the company determines” means the calculation rule sits outside the terms. Sentences like this are flagged separately, with a prompt to ask for the calculation method in writing before you sign up.
